Like i was saying dave, i have a full Janspeed system (alas the manifold died a while ago!) and a Webebr 34DMTR carb with a bold on piper cross filter.
Now if you bought that lot off me for £80 quid YES YOU HEARD RIGHT! £80 - you would need to spend say £200 on a cam and maybe another 200 on head work - and for £480 you have got yaself a super fast 1.6s!!!
Sounds great eh?

Loadsa stuff you can do, carb version is one of my specialities, run 140hp 130lb/ft from a 1.6 with just carbs, gas flow, blue print, home made exhaust, everything else was std and I did it all myself, that was in an escort and I used to take on 325i beemers, escort rs turbos, an escort cossie (the driver was poo) and smoke alot of them! carbs have the 130lb/ft power all the time no lag or fade so its very tractable at any speed in any gear!
