yo people, just purchased an xr2i 8v, just wondered if there is any tuning i can do it to without spending a grate deal of money :) lol, any comments/ advice welcome, cheers regards will.

Induction kit and exhaust combo will add a few bhp, have your budget extends further than that, drop a kent cam in.

You could throw £1000's at it, head work, chip, 4 branch manifold etc and it would still be less bhp than a standard RST

cheers for all the advice, i would say budget would be 1000/1500, just basicly getting some ideas together at the mo, [ERRR] i could do to increase the bhp! but by the sounds of it sending the head away for some light tuning and puttting bigger cams in it is the best option! cheers people!

Have you considered dropping a 2.0 16v zetec in? there are some good guide on the forum and its not as expensive as you may think.

ive spent £1600 on my xr2i enigne and i have 160 bhp thats all on parts and fitted them all my self apart for the uni chip.
