I need to get some more power out of my Xr2i. Got som questions though:

So far i have done this:

Zorst
K&N 57i
130ps throttle body.

Im planning of fitting a Unichip (I know...) and the Kent Performance cam kit for the RS1800. How will this affect the car. Can i use the kent cam combined with a Unichip (I know...) to get good power figure. Or do have to change the ecu to a RS1800 too? What kind of power can i expect. The Kent cam on fitted to the RS1800 is supposed to give an xtra 18bhp.

What more modifcations. Is it worth fitting a lighted flywheel?

Unichip (I know...) is best fitted once everything else has been fitted. Make sure it's set up properly.

You should see a bit more power, but I would recommend removing the catalytic converter if you can.

You`ll gain nowt without chipping it, + good choice with the Unichip (I know...). The cams, throttle body and Unichip (I know...) will see get u more than the RS1800, defo get a decat pipe as the cat is very restictive, shouldn`t bother with a lightened flywheel as you`ll wreck the driveability. You might want to get yourself a power boost valve and get it set up when u get the Unichip (I know...)-just to up the pressure a bit so it doesn`t run too lean..
