Turbo a CHV carb?

Postby XR2Massie on Mon Aug 05, 2002 6:38 pm

May seem like a silly question but does anyone know if you can turbo a carb engine?

Am a proud owner of a mk2 XR2 (arent we all?!) and need more power!!!
Currently saving to do ERST engine swap but if can do anything to existing lump, will save a lot of time and money.

If anyone has done such a conversion or know someone that has then please get in touch.

Safe

you may find its a little bit more difficult that that as xr2tt's are as rare as rocking horse s**t. have fun though, and its not impossible to effectivly make your own kit up, you just need to know what you are looking for- if you want more info go to http://www.xrtwo.com, go to the msg board and ask westt or fastdan, or on xroc, they post on both and know their stuff :)
