Fezzer boy: In less than 200 words please explain and prove that a 'shot of nos' will 'ruin' a FRST engine. Thank you.

in many cases using nos can cause premiture fracturing and weakening of engine!
do a search its been disscussed many times!
and as weve all said before would u prefer 250bhp engine or 200bhp engine and a 50 shot???

I'm writing this in regards to whom may be concern. There's prefectly nothing wrong in puttin NOS in any engine. It's all up to the expense of the user or owner of the car. If the engine had been setup properly i.e rebuilt to cope with the few brust of increase power, the chances that the head or piston giving way is reasonably less than a medium milage engine attempting to go NOS.

However, the driver him/herself had to accustom to the sudden increase in power where reaction had to be timed, if not, the damages incured to the engine will be more than that of [ERRR] monthly town driving will do.

For a car to go another 50bhp is not as easily reached when they'r almost at the max output of the engine capacity.

The choice to go Turbo or stay NA is up to you liam. However, I do have to warn you that things are not as simple as it appears. If the conversion is to be done on a base model. More modification had to be done when compared to an uprated model. AND, there's no instant success in doing a conversion. Though she might ticked over and drive normally. There will always be things lingerin about. The reason is simple, she's a FORD....

FIXED

REPAIR

The 2i bottom end won't be able to take too much boost. Think its about 7 psi Max
