turbo recon??
does any1 know if there is a website or a book that gives a detailed step by step guide of how to recon a t3 turbo??

but that sounds a bit envolved to what i was thinking!!!
i meant just changing the oil seals and giving it a general clean up and maybe a 360o bearing..depending how hard it would be!!

do you have a rough idea of how much it would be??
i've got to put msn back on my comp (just rebooted after dowlaoding a nasty virus. )

mark sorted out my old t2 for about £200 - was about 2 years ago though. dropped it off on a tuesday picked it up on wednesday.

I reconditioned my T3. It's not hard but as some have said it wont be perfect as it will not have had the correct re-balace of the shaft and wheels.
However if all your changing is the bearings you can get away with this as the comp wheel has already been matched to the shaft, but it wont be 100% spot on.
mines run fine so far...
