Turning up the boost ..
Hi there,
My T3 converted FRST engine runs fine @ 10Psi.. at least as far as i know..
The turbo's got a -31 actuator.. (which when fitted only needed just a slight tug to slide over the wastegate 'handle' (0,5mm)
The amal valve is still connected (though "on"/off switchable by a switch)
I also have a Bleedvalve connected between the input of the amal valve .. and the T piece that connects to the turbo and the actuator.
No my problem.
10psi .. no problem. the bleedvalve is fully closed. But as soon as i touch the bleedvalve (turn it just 1mm) the boost goes up .. al the way !!!
What am i doing wrong here ??
How could i set it up correctly that when turning the bleedvalve my boost just goes up slightly ?
any advice is welcome..

If you get a boost gauge (a very good one like autometer not any cheep s.h.i.t) adjust the actuator the shorter it is the more boost it wil be running so start off longer and take it for a spin then wait for it to cool down unlike me and fryed my hand to the turbo then make a few turn's shorter take it out agin till your happy i tock mine out 4 time till i was happy till it hit's the mark on the boost gauge job done bleed valve are not good trust me i had one cost me a new turbo and sounds like the one you have is c.r.a.p any way this is what i did car hit's 14psi all day long
