Tweeter Positioning?
I've not had a real system for yonks! However I'm slowly starting to build up a small amount of parts.
Anyway where do you lot think positioning the tweeters is the way to go?

I mounted mine in the dash.
My understanding is it's best to have the tweeters mounted about 6" from the mid cone though. Top of A-pillar will sound very bright and wanky

according to club DJs high frequencies are at there best at above ear level so i rekon the a-piller would be best.

That door card looks shocking, anyway, I finally plumped for above the wing mirror adjuster, will get some pics up for you to look at when the camera has charged.

It's dark now so the pictures are pretty shocking, and yes my car does need a good clean and a hoover!

Try the middle of the A pillar firing in the middle of the screen...straight across if you get me....so the sound appears to be coming from the middle (front) of the car as opposed to either side (left door/right door)
failing that, top of A pillars

bit of a late post justed spotted this one seeing as you'v already fitted them,
how do they sound?
Im looking at componants for the front, KFC PS1700P or KFC P507
after looking at http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk
(this one goes out to 'Priezti' & Bassy boy) it waffles on about having your componants in the kick well so that there is a shorter, equal distance from both left and right speakers giving you a better listening quality.
combined with having your rear speakers set so you can just hear them with some vibrating bass coming through from the sub(s)
Spank me if im wrong(hope theyre female)

while your looking ahead, the sound will come from ahead,
depends what your after too i spose, im thinking of going full on SQ in my fiesta, but dont know if i might miss the Orion sub hehe
