Tweeters out of phase?

Postby richard_p88 on Sun Mar 18, 2007 10:06 pm

Realised that my JBL coaxials (in the back) seem to give far more treble than the seperate tweeters of my phoenix gold comps when i faded the sound to central position.

Can tweeters be wired out of phase? i know with woofers a lack of bass is a symptom, so is it worth taking off door cards to get my crossovers and switch some wiring over?

kind of...tweeters sometimes can sound better when wired out of phase...it all depends on their positioning...

try it and see what you like the sound of and keep them like that
