Two Questions - Turbo Oil Feed / PAS Pump Union
Hi all,
Progressing with my ZT build nicley, but just wanted to check a couple of things..
1) My T3 turbo has a Bailey oil filter fitted in the top of the small adapter then the oil feed goes on top of this. The thread on the adapter is tapered, but the thread on the filter isn't. Should I be using anything other than a spanner to get this sealed? IE PTFE tape or similar?
2) I'm in a similar boat wit the PAS, there are various connections which I need to check do not need a seal or something else..
Pump to high pressure hose?
The join on top of the cam cover has an O-ring
Then there are the two connections to rack
Should these have anything?
Thanks in advance!

Ok sounds good.
I'm just not keen on using it on the turbo due to the heat.

If you don't want to use that buy a product called well seal its bloody brilliant and its more commonly used by people on underground fuel pipes its used to seal the joins and all the bolts they have building the fuel pipes, iv used it and its good !
If not in pretty sure ptfe tape would be ok
