Tyres causing call to Pull to one side?
hey all, i got a odd problem, my car was pulling to the right, tracking was checked which turned out to be fine, new lower arms fitted too and its still pulling to the right.
so i swapped the 2 front tyres over left to right.
now the car pulls to the left making me think somehting is not right with the wheels/tyres?
can tyres cause a car to pull in one direction? air pressure is equal on all tyres.
i cant see any dents or cracks on the rim so wondering if its an issue with the tyres or the rims?

Are they directional tyres on back-to-front?

The tyres could be warped ,need them on a balance machine to see it
or you could jack it up and run the wheels im sure you would notice if the tyre was wobling

nop they are not directional tyres, they got assymetrical tred,
however 1 tyre looks odd, from the side it seems fine and round but if u look at it directy from the tread it looks like half of the tyre is bigger than the other half.
if u get wot i mean.

The tyre has worn unevenly so even though the car is tracked up straight it still pulls to one side. Try sticking the tyres from the back onto the front.

changed both front tyres today and the car drives awsome, no more pulling to one side and its super smooth, feels like a new car now.

That, also should be careful if replacing a single tyre, sometimes manufacturers change compounds or tread patterns and the difference can cause a pull to one side. Had this on my car when I bought it, tyre sidewalls proclaimed themselves to be identical but the tread patterns were different.
Nothing to see here...
