Universal Back box

Postby cheby on Sun Sep 05, 2004 11:38 pm

Hello all,

I'm needing some advise on an universal backbox. I have a Fiesta 1.3 ohv cfi. I've searched and searched for a full system for this car but I have come to the end of the road because all that is available is custom ones. I'm a student and I don't have the money yet to do an engine transplant, so I have decided instead of spending a lot of money on a custom system for a deadend engine to spend it on a backbox. Right enough of explanations.

I'm looking at 2 back boxes at the moment. I would like a bit of noise just to take the drown of the engines tappet sound away, if you get me. The first one is the Magnex 3.5" or 4" inward roll universal backbox

The second one is the Rage 3.5" or 4" inward roll universal backbox.

I've got an xr2 bumper on the back so really I want the best quality back box and best size one that would look sweet.

Questions!!!

Which one do you think is the better one? or is there another make you can recommend?

As it is such a small engine would the size make me lose power? and if so what would you recommend?

Cheers
