as far as i know its a straight swap for the cylinder itself you dont have to change the mounts. but it does involve some fabrication for the actual pedal to work. someone on here did it to his turbo a while back.

have a search you may come up gold.

I've done the escort mk5 conversion a few weeks ago. You need to adjust two of the holes on the bracket with a 10mm drill for the servo to sit in place. Then you need to chop 20mm out of the connecting rod and reweld the end back on. Also 2 of the brake pipe ends need changing to fit into the master cylinder. Mine hasn't got any rear compensators on at the minute but the brakes feel fine and the rears don't lock befor the fronts.

Hope this helps

is there an easier way?

basically the pedal travels too far before it works properly.

could i not just weld the connecting rod to make it longer?
