Whenever i go to upload a pic into my gallery it says file size too big, How do i reduce them to make them fit?

Ok i have downloaded them onto photobucket and they are under 200kb but when i go to put them into my gallery it says invalid file type. They are definatley jpeg files too. Can anyone help?

Even if i dont put them in my gallery can someone tell me how to post them?

dont use the gallery on here. u can use the URL's that photobucket gives u. just put the link in between image tags :)
