uprated box
I am looking for gearbox with LSD. It has to be strong enough to handle 300/320bhp on a zetec turbo. I did come across a Cts stage 2 box several weeks ago but it was picked up by scrap men as I left it in my front garden foolishly. Need a replacement asap as I want my new engine and box to go in next week

I know tell me about it mate. I got a gate and fence in my garden and it was there Monday morning when I took it of the van before work because I was in a rush cam back home from work on the friday and it was gone. I went on a five hour drive on a Friday to lose it. Wasn't cheap either

Re: uprated box
Your going for the same power as me.. As far as I have seen and heard a cts stage 2 won't take 300bhp that comfortably. Apparently the only gearbox that's "safe " at this power and above is an MTX gearbox , pefwrably the focus rs one.. If you have the time and money to do the conversion ..
Me myself I won't be goin. That way , I will be using an ib5 gearbox rebuilt with an LSD and il probably get 1st and 2 me shot peened.
There's a guy on passionford called Carlos who will be building my box for me if your interested in that route message him

There's a post on passion gord, the stage 2+ box is good for this power! the difference as far as I'm aware between the 2 & 2+ is shot preened gears, apparently sunny had one in his and run 400 bhp they haven't tested it to distruction according to Bernie the gearbox man
Hope this helps
