uprated lowered suspenion kit

just wondering what the best uprated suspenion lowering kit syou guys would recommend
and how much should i lower by (without adjusting arces ect and not touching wheels)?
car is a xr2i 16v wheels are 195/45/r15 im looking
to spend no more then £300 as im quite low on cash at the mo lol
i was gonna go for gmax but ive heard they not too good

Go for a Spax -35mm drop, the Gmax kit is cheap and really isn't all that but it's great if you're on a tight budget.

Spax are good pretty good, PSX/VSX kits are spot on for the money.

Do not use gmax.

I have the Spax VSX kit on my FRST, it says 35mm but its more like 40mm. I assume this is because they know the FRST came pre-lowered, either way this is what it looks like on mine. I think it may scrub a bit although it may just be the creaking from the springs.
