was a front end collision, but apparently the engine is a good runner an it all still works.

can this engine go straight into mk3 car (engine, gearbox, rad etc), like a mk3 1.6s fezzy engine will??.
eg are the mounting points the same for the engine/gear box etc??.
can i use the loom off the xr2 to plug straight into my mk3 car??.

what other probs may i encounter etc??.

im not to clued up on engines etc, so adive required.

could do with knowing quite soon if anyone can help

The mk3 1.6s engine is exactly the same as the xr2 engine, and will fit in perfectly! Dont know about the wiring though!

i dont think the radiator fits
as for wiring, seeing as its a carb there arent many conenctions to the actual engine - It needs power from a coil, an earth strap, a wire from the temp sender, oil pressure wire, and on some a wire to the carb for the fuel cutoff valve.
