Urgent: How to connect my turbo cooling?
Hi!
Since my CFi to CFi turbo project is near to final state I need to know how to connect water cooling for my S2 ERST T3 turbo unit. Here is my current water cooling system - 1,4 CFI:
After some discussion with a friend we find a solution (may be!)
Here is our drawing - 1,4 EFi Turbo with water cooled turbocharger:
Please, anyone can confirm our drawing? I need it for tommorow
Here is a blank image for some drawings if you want to.

Do you mean:
"water comes from the radiator" ?
Because in Microcat that little metal pipe on water cooled turbo connected to radiator (24) is called "TUBE - WATER INLET, CVH 1,6 TURBO", and the other that goes to top radiator hose (26) - "TUBE - WATER OUTLET" ?!?

yup thats easier to quote than explain. the long red one is the water feed (from the top radiator hose), the shorter one is the return to the side of the radiator
No longer a FRST owner, or even a Fiesta owner

ok just a quick one,
ya see the hose coming from the rad to the turbo, (pretty sure it's the supply line, convection and all that. . . ), is that a single bore hose or does it get larger at the rad?
The connection on my rad is too big to get a hose on it which also securely fits onto the turbo solid pipe. Have I got the wrong rad?
when i got the car it didn't have the water cooling connected!

Look, I've got a MK2.
I quite happen to like it.

The fiesta turbo rad has a little spout that the hose pushes on to from the the turbo but some people do a xr2i convert to help with the cooling as the rad's are bigger and some people don't have the turbo water cooled as this make's the car run hotter

Ian, I just have one question. Is it logical that the the water feed for the turbo is the hot water that goes from the engine to the radiator?? I thought that the turbo was fed with the colder water comming from the radiator.
