Urgent what intercooler do u recommned

hi guys my mate has a fiesta rs turbo and it has teh flowwing spec

1.6
new pistons
new bearings
felpro headgasket
165 superchip
induction kit
kent high lift cam
vernier pulley
t3 turbo
full stainless scorpian

he wants a intercooler next but he wants one that is big buts is a direct replacement and no chopping and messing about is required he doesnt want to cut bumpers etc what intercooler do you recommend?i jsut sold my intercooler as well after abonding my project any ideas guys?

You don't have to have an intercooler if it's urgent mate, just get it where it needs to go, it'll be fine most probably. If you're worried, turn the boost down so you're not generating the heat. It's not perfect, but it'll do for an emergency.

id go for the pro-alloy, same size as the old style pace.
better cores on the pro alloy oine :)

Well .. the pro alloy one and the pace one need cutting of the bumper when fitted with a T3 conversion..
they come in front of the rad .. and take up some space.. .. and the rad has come forward to clear the actuator ..

hence the space between bumper and rad is that small (with a T3 conversion) .. you can't fit ANY intercooler between them .. without cutting the bumper.. so standard intercooler will have to do .. if he doesn't want the bumper to be cut.

when running boosts below 20psi , but above 14psi.. i recon Pro alloy or pace intercooler..

above 20psi .. well.. a larger pro alloy or a GRS one
