v6 mondeo brakes

bascily today i was given some calipers, pads, discs and the caliper brackets. i have a 1991 fiesta xr2i 1.6. what work is required to fit them. i have serched but not had much luck. cheers

fitting them should be the same as cossy one's it's just they are smaller have to use nuts to space the calipers out it's in performance ford. Apart from the spacing out they should go straight on as long as you have 15"+ wheels :D

Depends on what type of caliper they are. There are two different types at least to my knowledge. Get a pic up and we can tell you.

sorry about the poor qaulity. the calipers have some sort of code on them, 1 has 887, the other has 888.

Ahh,

Early ones. You will need to machine 4mm off the back of the carrier like so:

Use the Mondeo disks, then you will be cooking on gas mate,

just painted my calipers. not too keen on the colour, its like a sky blue, i did want it a little darker, but they will do for now
