van aaken do a turbo conversion for the ka i wanna do summat different to my fez its a 1 litre and the turbo on there site sez it needs no internal work done would it be possible to do it to the fez

p.s i aint looking for big power gains just summat different and a dump valve

pimsle......prob true though.

no point in spend all that moey on a 1.1 turbo.....
would just be the biggest waste of money.

save the cash an buy a 1.6 xr2i or FRST or 2.0 conversion.

if i am correct the Turbo that Van Aaken do is for the 1.6 Zetec engine where you can just slot it in and not mess around with any internals.

Pretty sure they do one for the HCS engine too - I've seen the pics of their kits. Give them a call as they prolly speak better English than the rest of us here

Btw, if you can pull away in 4th it's a fair bet that your clutch is dead, and you'll definitely need to change that for a turbo conversion, which then begs the question "while the engine/gearbox is out, why not drop something larger in instead"???

u can get a supercharge for 1.1, so would fit 1.0 no probs, where from i have no idea, lol but i have seen one at college b4

chum remember when me and ur brother took my series one erst to get it chipped they are a fudgekin joke van akhen dont use them mate heard loads of bad things about them mate also some guy had a 1.0 fiat chicqento when i was there and had them make it a turbo they did but after a few days he was back turbo blew and took the engine aswell and they had to keep giving him a hire car !!!!!! not a good company i think !!!!
