Variable Boost dilema?

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Postby festaturbo on Mon Mar 11, 2002 9:28 pm

I want to be able 2 vary the boost on my FRST. The amal valve was removed by the previous owner and the boost is set on a bleed valve. My cars spec is:-
165 chip
Pace Intercooler
Piper T2 camshaft
K&N element
Mongoose exhaust
I want 2 be able to set it at 7psi and then when needed 14psi which it was set up to. Can anyone suggest a way to do this?

In car bleed valve?

Major problem with in-car adjustable boost :

You adjust the boost but NOT the fuelling, this will end up with your engine going BANG!!
