VERNIER PULLEY ISSUES!!!!!

Hi ppl, just a qquestiion for you all. i have fitted my xr2i with a kent adjustable vernier cam pulley i was hoping some of you could give me any advise on advancing the timing with it. its running on a piper bp285 cam, if that helps,
