thats dependant on the xmax of the speaker. just because something is rectangular/square, does not mean it moves more air (when taking speaker movement into consideration also)

those 6x9's do give tremendous amounts of bass VERY popular!

would you recommend them then?
I currently have some comp's up front with standard rear speakers (dont even think they work) and a 12in Vibe Fli sub.
I do like a nice bit of bass, well i have to have some to listen to my D&B. Will these perform well enough in all ranges for me to get rid of the sub and free up half my boot??
thanks for the replys

Hello mate,

I have these speakers and they look the shiznit! They are quite big and very heavy so an mdf shelf is a must have! As for quality I couldnt really say because im not running a decent amp. I think that iff i had a decent amp to run them then they would be alot better. But iff your planning on gettin a decent amp, go for it because they are ment to be really good when used properly with decent amp. They got the Silver award in a Max power 6x9 test (Alphasonik got gold).

hope this helps! :D

got them fitted and running today, and i have to say. I am very impressed, they are far better than i expected, i was thinking the usual 6x9 but they are much better.
Only problem now is i need cash elsewhere, not sure if i am able to keep them nor my sat nav. Bugger, always happens.
cheers for the info though.
