I have just purchased a set of mounts and the lad said they are competition spec, is there any way of telling them apart from the fast road mounts??

They should've had a coloured blob on them that lets you differentiate between the Vibra-Technics HD mounts and the Comp mounts. I think orange is Comp, not sure about HD. I use the Comp mounts on mine, so will have a photo of them in my thread somewhere that might show the coloured blob.

S1 destroyed some HD mounts on his car, but his is a 16v 2.1 pushing 270bhp and a shed load of torque on sticky tyres. Comp mounts are still less harsh that solid mounting the engine, softies like Gav just can't handle some engine noise :p
