VW polo, 2001, 53k, £650

for sale is my girlfriends 1.0 VW polo 5 door in silver with only 53k on the clocks

she bought the car a year and a half ago and it got put in the garage. At the beginning of last july i decide to get the car MOT and get it on the road but the tax ran out at the end of that month, when i went to tax the car they wouldn't let me tax it because the previous owner tried to claim on the insurance for a dint in the rear passengers door, because the claim never went threw the insurance told the DVLA and now the car has to go for a VIC check before the car can be taxed. The car then got put back in the garage because i never had the time to take it to have the VIC check done.

the car passed its MOT last July with only needing a new set of wiper blades and brake pads, the mot runs out in July 2012
the car also had a brand new peddle box and clutch put in it.
the DVLA has the log book for the car and they will not release it until the car has had a VIC check.
VIC checks are only £41.

the car has a dint in the passengers rear door,
needs a filler cap cover,
crake in the back bumper about 2-3 inches,
little dint at the bottom of the drivers door,
see pictures for these
pictures don't do the car any justice as its bin sat there since last july so its abit dirty but it will be cleaned upon sale

im needing the space now in my garage so need it gone.
this would be a great cheap first car for someone
£650 ono but open to offers

as someone pointed out to me on another website i have done a HPI check on the car and spoken to the DVLA about the VIC check. the insurance company that the pervious owner tried to claim of stated the car as a cat c over the phone but the claim was knocked back as it was found out it was his own fault and because the car was never viewed by the insurance as the claim was done over the phone and the claim got knocked back the insurance stated the car as a cat c. Viewing of the car by the insurance company never happened thats why the DVLA want a VIC check done.
