Wanted: Boot Popper!
8 posts • Page 1 of 1
Hey guys I'm after an early MK3 Boot Popper.
It's the black plastic motor with only 2 wires (brown & red/white). It's mounted on a bracket within the boot-lid and pulls a metal arm to pop the boot.
I had one in there when I got the car but after testing found it was shagged. I tried to find replacement motors to fit in the black plastic unit but they are a funny shape and no would sit snugly and because MK3's are thin on the ground in Northampton scrapyards I was hoping one of you kind fella's would have one lying around.
Can you help me? Cash waiting.
Cheers.

Oh well I sent it to your dreamcast address below, along with a message asking for an inner and outer CV joint from your scrapped XR2i.
Well send me an e-mail to Matt_Steves@Hotmail.com and I'll reply with my address.
Cheers.

AHA!:grin:I have it now its 11 o clock but was not here at 10?????:???:bloody internet! why is it so anyhow?
Anyway cant help u with cv joints im afraid although i would advise you buy brand new parts when it comes to drive train components etc. cos these are moving all the time and are most likely to wear out on older cars.I sent u my address anyway so ill wait for cheque.
