Wanted: Small Cheap Runabout

And I do really mean small and cheap. Anything considered as long as it's in reasonable mechanical condition has a good, long MOT (i.e. 5 months or more) and costs as little as possible to buy. As long as it runs and drives well, I'm happy - not worried if ancillary things don't work or the engine's tappety or whatever. Body condition is not important if it's cheap enough. I might be able to stretch up to £300 for the right car, but this does have to be as cheap as is humanly possible. :)

Oh yeah, and it has to be reasonably local to southern Hampshire - I'm not travelling hundreds of miles for something this cheap!
My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.
