Way to go?

Postby MattL on Fri Apr 02, 2004 9:50 am

Ive got a frst, running a 165 chip at about 12/13psi, with a std T2, stainless system and K&N induction.

Is there nething else, performance mods wise, I can do to my car without having to go to a hybrid?

Thanks

Maybe a cam change and a better intercooler? Or some beige injectors and a 195 chip.

Thanks

I think the standard T2 would be stressed @ the pressure levels a 195 chips programmed to attain its full potential. According to "popular belief" you're running yours at about as much as u can run it safely, so I'd advise u on searching for power somewhere else. Note that if you want to upgrade your turbo and don't wanna go hybrid, theres always the allmighty T3 conversion.

Just out of curiosity, how to FRSTs respond to headwork? I know N/A CVHs benefit alot from it, so I imagine it might be a good way of improving the turboed too.
