Whacking a Mondeo 2.5 v6 24v engine into an Si?

Does anyone know if this is possible in theory, as the 2.0ltr has been done? I know its insurance group 15 but wouldnt it go like sh!t off a shovel? :devil:

I am no expert, but wouldn't it be too big to actually fit?

I suppose it could be mounted in the rear, but that would be a small fortune to do at a guess.

I think its been considered but it would have to be mounted in the back.

I have a knackered old Mondeo V6 and there is absolutely no way the engine would fit - it barely fits in a Mondeo engine bay so Fiesta is a big no-no.

Like Classkeeper said it would have to be mounted in the back and having driven a Mondeo V6 I can tell you that the engine's not really all that TBH.

Maybe in a Mk4 or 5, but the Mk3 seems to be a bit short on space by comparison.

Seen one a mk5 Escort, the owner had to cut away the slam panel to fit it in and when i last read about it he was goning to Top Boss to get twin turbo's fitted.

Im after a de cat pipe for my SI but im on a tight ass budget. Someone sed to me to get the down pipe from a diesel fiesta because they ent got cats. Is this true will it work do u know?
