What alarm and where to get them cheapest

Postby fezzapower on Sat Mar 03, 2007 7:16 pm

hi i need to get an alarm fitted to my car, i need it to have an imobilizer as well.

the key fob is where the tricky bits starts, i need to have the normal alarm button, a central locking button, a boot realise and if possible a spare button to remote start my car.

ive been looking at a few alarms that have these functions and they all do seem rather expensive, i was looking at a clifford but they are a bit out of my budget. i can deal with not having the remote start, but the others are realy a must.

just wanted to know if you lot no of any alarms and preferable companys that will have a mobile fitting service in the norfolk area that are reasonably priced.

thanks for your help

Ok, i got a Toad Ai606 (very reliable alarm), fitted by a guy from a reputable company called Safe & Sound. The fob has 4 buttons, one Locks and Arms, the other Unlocks and Disarms, one operates my Headlights (for 20 secs, rather cool i must say), And the Last one will pop my Boot release.

It cost me £275 all in, he came to my house and done it for me, on top of the above mentioned the alarm has a shed load of features etc.

I hope the information ive put helps with your decision. If not, PM Rhinopower, he can fit alarms :)

stay away from microscan! nowt but trouble, no features, eaisly bypassed etc, generally crap.

i had one and it sounded like a fairground ride when it cycled through 6 different sounds, i was ashamed when it went off.
