What aluminum rad?

What aluminum rad?
I need more cooling as my standard, but brand new, RS turbo rad and Pace aluminum intercooler aren't coping.
I'm thinking of going to Pace and getting a custom made combined rad and intercooler - being a Quantum I have a bit more room to play with than the fiesta.
Anyone got any suggestion or recommendations of other companies?
Cheers,
John

Give Graham a ring as ian said
Have a word and he can probably make one to fit in your quantum perfectly if he has the specs
I know a geeza with a rather quick fiesta who has just ordered some custom items from him and seemed like anice bloke when i met him at castle coombe show.
Ill dig out his number this afternnon while at work

Can somebody fill me in how these all aluminium rads are better than the standard item?
The only plus I can see is longevity, as the cores are identical from what i've seen.
Usually the only reason for swapping to an aluminium rad is to runa high pressure cooling system, and from what ive seen so far no one has done that..

u can have it custom size mark ie BIGGER
if u have a custom intercooler also they can be designed together so the rad can be extended slightly so more surface area ! then the only thing that needs to slip between the rad and chassis is the pipes to and from the intercooler !

There are several other advantages using aluminium:
1) It is lighter than steel!
2) I think aluminium is a better transferer of heat than the standard steel items
3) and as Craig has said they are generally bigger.
If you are going to shell out the money on a custom jobbie, might as well pay a little more to have it made of aluminium and it last a lot longer.
Mmmmmm, polished aluminium
