what are the best brakes for a fiesta rst?

but the standard brakes are very poor for stopping, what are the best brakes to get? something that my standard 3 spokes will fit over? or if not ill keep my 15's on the car? i just want a basic straight swapover and thats all im looking for.

I think the standard brakes are the biggest you'll fit under the standard 3-spokes. Under 15s you can fit Cossie/ST150 brakes which are a good upgrade. If you want to keep the standard brakes though, just get braided hoses and bleed the system. That should sharpen them up a bit

Rob - I have motor factor discs, braided lines, mintex fast road pads up at the front with motor factor pads at rear and new juice (5.1) all still with ABS on my FRST and it works well.

I run a setup similar to the RS2000 260mm under 14s and they work very well... Not made them fade yet anyway

fiesta mk5 zetec-s or 2000> pumas use 258mm discs and should fit under standard 14's.
discs and pads are cheap to replace as well.
