What big Brakes fit Mk5 Fiesta (2000)

Postby cosmicgypsy on Wed Mar 31, 2004 10:32 pm

Please, Please help me.

Having spent a bit on uprated disks and pads the content of the
EBC Greenstuff s**t pads has left its mark on my Tar-Ox disks. This has caused stupid amounts of vibration and warping.

Has any genius fitted disks and calipers from another car to the MK5 Fiesta, if so what were they?

Or anyone got any ideas on what i should do, apart from buying copper/kevlar pads again.. DERRRRRR :bonkers:

It depends on how big your wheels are... anything is possible from 258 mm Zetec S stuff to FRP Alcons, depending on how far you can stretch your budget.

If it was my money and the car had 15" wheels or bigger, I'd go for 4WD Cossie brakes or Pumaspeed 300 mm conversion (yours for about 330 pounds incl. fitting).

Or get a ST170 brake upgrade form me for just £320  that inlcudes new calipers, carriers, discs and pads.
