What Clutch?

Postby Cellze on Wed Dec 14, 2005 8:14 pm

I not 100% sure what clutch i will need for my gearbox I have 2.0 zetec with a 1.6 si flywheel and a FRST gearbox so I was wondering what performance clutch kit would I need, plus I don't want a paddle clutch?

I was looking at a RS1800 or RST? stage 1 (Fast Road) organic clutch kit from techni clutch, would this be ok, and has anyone used them?

Cheers

I was thinking that aswell but I think I will defiantly need to use the zetec flywheel, I will probably give techniclutch a call and see what they think?

Does anyone no if there is any difference between a 1.6 si and RS1800 flywheel?

Thanks

I wouldn't mind having ap racing clutch kit but I don't want the paddle clutch and the ap racing competition is nearly the same price as the paddle clutch but I have seen AP Racing Formula organic clutch in Burton for the roughly the same price as techni clutch, and I would prefer AP.

But I spoke to some who said I can use the FRST clutch kit and Si flywheel but I have to check the flywheel as there was two types of clutchs from EBC Clutch Kits, one pre 1995 and the other after 95?

Thanks for Help :D
