What are the best dump valves?

Piston or diaphram?

Ive got a le mans piston it lets out a very quick tish are these any good?
What about baileys they seem very popular.

Baileys are rubbish......far too quiet :devil:

The loudest piston d/v i have heard is the Collins twin piston one i have fitted :D

dont bother with diaphragm d/v's they let all sorts of cr@p into your engine.

You Dont really want to get Diaphram ones.. not as stong or reliable..

I'm very happy happy with my Bailey piston Type D/V specially now after my T3 conversion.. sounds really good

Collins T/P rules!!!, make sure u get a twin piston whatever the make is as single piston and diagpham valves open on idle thus letting unfiltered air into the engine. The amount of noise depends on the boost yer run :)
