What ECU chip for 170bhp+ ?

Postby Stoned on Thu Sep 04, 2003 7:42 pm

I was hoping to get an Ahmed Bayjoo chip but I was just told they wont run beiege injectors.

I already have a chip of some sort, but I have no idea what it is so I thought I would get something else soon to go with boost increase

Any suggestions?

Agreed totally. I've seen many many big power cars mapped onto Unichip by a mapper i know without any problems or come backs. :)

It's either that or a Motorsport Delveopments chip. MC & GavRST seem to rate them so I sent off a spec sheet of my Fez as it stands to them too see if they could write a chip for it.

The only worry is Gav thought the MD chip might have been limiting his revs to 6.1k after the track day at brunters yesterday which I wouldnt want.

like an alarm a unichip is only as good as the fitting

if you get some tool splicing your loom and fitting it then it could fook up

i wouldnt let interpro fit one of these to my car after the servie i recieved from them

if you know someone whos top bollock then the unichip seems propper bo.

bear in mind you will also need a plug in style chip (ie a superchip) for your ecu to remove the boost limiter on the std ecu ! a unichip doesnt do this !!!!!
