What Filter on a T3
need to get a new induction kit for my fez which has a T3 conversion. Changing the one that was on there when i brought it but do i get an Escort one or a Fez one????

Cossie ones are generally bigger - although I'd say any cone filter that's not restrictive and yet actually filters would be the one to go for, you don't want nasty bits of grit going into the turbo now
I think Andy suggested the Cossie ones because of the rather nice looking RamAir ones that are available

air filters
i`ve heard HKS are brilliant but would a fully enclosed filter like pipercross viper not be better? no hot air from engine would be sucked up then!

Yeah - I'd say you would have to relocate the battery which is a pain in the backside.
The best place to locate the air-filter is between the battery and headlamp (only possible really if you have a front mount intercooler) and then you can run a load more cold air ducting up to it - shouldn't suffer so much from heatsoak there as it would tucked up next to the engine and turbo.
