What handbrake
Ok a little confused now.
I have
ZS rear beam.
Mk1 focus rear discs.
Puma racing handbrake cable
Do I need to change the handbrake lever and short section of cable also as I will lose the undercar adjustment? If so what item should I get?
Also as the mk3 points for the handbrake cable are offset to I need to do something about this to even them up?
Cheers

Re: What handbrake
puma cable is too long... i was also told this, i ended up making one from a focus cable, keeping the offset bracket, route the cables as normal (i started caliper end), cut the caliper crimp off, measure where the cable gets to the offset bracket and cut to length (remove inner cable first) once to length fit inner cable back in using mk5 hb lever to connect the 2 cables. at caliper end you will see the free ended inner cable is quite away past the caliper, here you will need to contact speedy cables (http://www.speedycables.com) and ask for the correct caliper fittings (P36). then again more measuring to get the cable length correct, this is very important to get correct, otherwise one side will work and other may not fully hold. once measured and cut, send to speedy cables and get then to crimp the ends on. its a hard job and i hated every step of it
or use the fiesta guides method and put the spacer inline, and retain the standard hb lever

Re: What handbrake
I have rs2000 discs on rear with the RS2000 cable it works a treat but I did weld up a new bracket so the cable would go tighter this doesn't have to be done but as I had the car in the air at the garage I done it anyway! Go rs2000!

Yeah I'm thinking adapting the offset plate would be a good shout. Then I wouldn't need to adapt it and a new mk5 fiesta lever should work
