HI IVE GOT A 1.4 GHIA I WAS WONDER WHAT 1.4 CARS COULD I BEAT

eg: nova, corsa etc

k&n BOLT ON FILTER
PECO BB2
LOWERED 60M ON 13"

not many m8 most modden cars are all 16v and u will have a hard time keeping up inless its a fudgekin huge beast of a volvo estate.

mk3's are quite heavy compared to other small cars, u wont out-do any 1.4 hatches, tho 1.3's u mite have, nova 1.3sr u mite have tho dunno cus they are quite hot being sr, would have to check up on bhp figures. tho most of em aint std being novas.

I really really really hate to have to say this but NOT nova 1.4 SR's

they run 80bhp and are tin cans

so don't bother

you'll probably do escort 1.4 CVH's and nova 1.2's

what if i put twin 40s and a kent cam how much faster will my car be its 75Bhp as standard

i would guess about 110bhp, but be prepared to cane ur fuel consumption, u will be filling up 3 times a week!

The power gain won't be to 110bhp I am afraid, it won't be 75bhp now due to engine wear etc. I fear even a 1.2 nova will whip you. Sorry mate :(
