I need to replace my clutch very soon bcuz my 1 is sliping very badly now..
there a three main makes out there that im aware of :
EBC racing clucth £150
AP £72
Diamond Black £110
from demon tweeks......
which one would be good for my xr2i 8v....
and say if " i was to get a new gear box say from the cvh turbo with LSD
would that clucth have to be for that vechile say ie from the S2 escort i wud have to purchase when i have the s2 box"
@ the momement im thinkning of getting a frst gearbox or s2 Width LSD
for my xr2i just becuz it has LSD and the power wud be put down more quicker plus doesnt cost loads of money and is better than the xr2i box (the quaffie box is not the right one @ this present time )
thanks

alright mate,
check out techniclutch, i got a fast road organic one from them for just over a hundred and its great.
As for the gearbox, i would have thought you need the clutch for the box your going to use, i.e s2 box needs a clutch for a s2 fitted.
