What makes a spark?

Just wondering, but what makes a spark come out a few cars exhaust?

Do they have to be heavily tuned?
Do any fiestas do that or does it depend on what exhaust/engine you have

i believe a natural spark or fire will come out of a cars exhaust if it has been tuned very highly but eveyone i see used flamer kits and cheap tricks for looks.

Cossies will flame naturally, because of fuel being used on the over run. You could get your FRST set-up like this, but you have to make your exhaust very hot for flames.

Use a flamer kit for best results ;)
