up the boost to 1 bar should see 200 but change the intercooler before summer pace coolers cant get the act down to a safe level

im running 185bhp on 11psi at the mo hoping to get another 10bhp without turning the boost up.. intercooler is next on the list, thinking of getting a pro alloy front mount :Q

ive never fitted an uprated head to a turbo engine before so im not sure what to expect, but i have fitted them to n/a cars ive had and they made a loada difference so hoping itl do the same :)

All depends who's done the work and what work has been done, the head i got had the works done to it with a kent kit in it and i saw an increase of 27 bhp from 122 bhp to 149bhp on a standard unchipped engine but at that time the cam had worn when it was roaded, now its fitted with a new kent cam kit and feels loads pokier i'd say maybe 20ish bhp with a decent cam kit.

i tried using a standard cam for abit and much prefer it over the cvh35 and piper t2, they just seemed to make it more laggy and move the power to top end. so im ganna stick to standard cam,as suggested by a few tuning companys

what size inlet valves do they use standard?

The CVH responds very well to big inlet valves.

Puma Racing make there own valves they offer 43.5mm and 45mm inlets in addition to the standard 42mm heads.

Other "big valves" available are only 42.6 or 43mm. Hardly worth fitting which is why they make there own. The best heads to use for 45mm valves are the XR2i which is the same as the RS turbo as far as im aware ones from 1989 onwards, casting number 89SM6090

am am currently using a pumaracing 45mm valve head with there custom double valve spring system the head is worth 45bhp over most stage three heads... well i gain 50bhp on with the same spec just by changing the head cost me £850
