[info] What seats fit in what models?
A small post to list what seats fit in what Fiestas:
Mk3s ('89 to '94 - no airbag, no flap over fuel cap)
You can fit all seats from other Mk3 Fiestas straight in, including FRST Recaros.
Seats from the Mk3.5 can be fitted by swapping over the subframes (remove the plastic screws on the base of the seat to remove the bum cushion and gain access to the nuts which hold the two seat runners in place).
You can't fit seats from the Mk4 or Mk5 Fiestas or Pumas without extensive fabrication - basically, it's not worth the effort in most cases.
Escort seats are a pain to fit and require fabrication of subframes.
Mk3.5s, Mk4, Mk5 and Puma (Mk3.5s: '94 '96 - airbag and flap over fuel cap)
Seats from the Mk3 can be fitted by swapping over the subframes (remove the plastic screws on the base of the seat to remove the bum cushion and gain access to the nuts which hold the two seat runners in place).
Seats from Mk4 and Mk5 Fiestas and Pumas fit straight in, and vice-versa.
Escort seats are a pain to fit and require fabrication of subframes.
