Hi

I've got PMC/FFWD gas shocks & springs on my XR2i which lowered the car by approx 40mm. The kit only cost me £215 and I'm well impressed by it. The ride is firm - not mash your teeth, rock solid.

FFWD can be contacted through PMC (as they are the same place) on...
07000 999123 - I think that is the right number???

Mikey

[Edited by mikey79 (23-01-2001 at 02:32 PM).]

If your existing shocks are in good condition, and you're quite handy with a spanner, there's no reason why you can't just bang a set of lowering springs on the existing shocks. Make sure you get ones for the right year, as Ford changed the rear cup height after '94 on Si and Mk4 variants. £80 to £85 should see you a good set of springs, m8!

I was wondering what kind of set ups of suspension every one else was using and if the ride was any good, as different shocks and springs give different quailty of rides, do'nt they
i am looking to lower my car 30mm with new shocks and springs, but i am on a bit of a budget, still have and will 4 a while have standard 13" alloys on my 91 xr2i. what way sould i go ??

[Edited by whitexr2i (02-03-2001 at 06:12 PM).]
