AdrianFRST :What do you want a "sports" oil filter for?

makes the oil happier and makes them lubricate better and because they are happy, theyre pretty cool. so the oil doesnt get stupidly hot and just stays at the optimum "sports" level, resulting in an increase in power

nah really, same as ade, i have no idea why u would want one

right after looking carefully i have seen an advantage in the sprots oil filter.

the nut on the end to aid tightening.

other than that it does what any other oil fileter does.

has all the same specs etc.

you could put it on but it wont make the blindest bit of difference if you want to help the oil fit an oil cooler. this keeps temps down. the fileter will do precisely nothing. but who am i to question others. if you really want an answer about this wait for Gaz7 that guy knows his stuff.

good luck with it though. oh and a "sports backbox can increase bhp by 30-40 if you drive a nova.

just a thought :D

dont we all just pointing out the veiw. basically save your money and get a motorcraft one. they do a good job and are oe so if ford used em they can be that bad can they considering they are still being used by ford.

no oint at the end of the day but its just up to you. and the nova subject the oil filter may give you a good 20bhp but only on a 1.2 merit with gsi sideskirts and huge bumpers.

motorcraft filter is fine, basically if it was s**t ford engines would suffer from engine failures due to contamination. no diff wotsoever in the filters ford one is designed to filtrate "blah" micron particles, and you`ll find uprated one is no different.
