You can (just) squeeze 300mm brakes behind 15s with machined callipers (not everyone likes doing that) or play safe and take the Cossie 280mm route to cheap big brakes.

I dont think so Si. The smallest wheel's i've seen the Cossie set-up on are 15's.

I've had Wilwood four pots and 283mm discs under 15s.

I have the same with Willwoods, it is tight with 15s. So no way with 14s. I must admit I need to change from 4wd Cossie to Mondeo ST220 next time, as they are inset more. I have to run with wheel spacers.

I couldn't fit my cossie brakes under the RS2000 rims you have - that's why I had to change them!

You should have a trial fit of them first as the caliper fouls on the spokes as they go inset into the rim.

It was only about a mm and you could machine the calipers but like I said, have a proper look before doing it unless you're going to change your rims.

Cheers,

cheers lads that could have been an expensive misunderstanding

i really dont wanna change my rims as i really like em so i might get cossy ones and ave em machined.

andy if only 1 mm or so had to be taken how come you didn't keep ya rims or did you just fancy the change to cossy beasts?
