Hey, i got me a 1.3 LX made in 94, i think its a mark 3 (?!). I want to get it lowered, bodykitted, new alloy wheels, bonet vent, de-badged, and sort out the inside as well. So, what you think i should do first? Any advice with any of the above would be great, first car so i'm a newbie
cheers

Yup, ur car is a mk3. Would b a good idea to get an alarm and immobiliser first, as u wanna protect the car as it is more desirable once modded. First mod I did to my Fiesta was a cat 1 alarm / immobiliser.

Could be an early Mk3.5 (mk3 with revised safty features) easiest way to tell - is there a flap over the petrol cap? If yes then its a Mk3.5 (late mk3) otherwise it's a normal mk3

An alarm an imobiliser is a very good place to start!!!!! For some reason i left it till nearly last!?!?

And then a set of alloys and lowering!!!

Never thought of that
Smart thinking though, i'll look into getting one fitted, any idea which to go for and price?
I have an air bag for the driver and a flap over the petrol cap so i suppose that makes it a Mk 3.5 then.
Cheers for the help

The toad alarm is around 300quid. Madcatcraig can get it cheaper, but unless you get a certificate of install from an accredated company, then it wont mean do-do to your insurance company.
