What work is involved, changing head gasket?

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

I'm wanting more BHP in the new year and see this as the first sensible mod, prepping for the increased power.

Is it just a case of removing the head and changing the gasket or do the head bolts have to be replaced????

Your wisdom is needed!!!!!

Headgasket, u may want to make sure the head is completly straight, cambelt, possibly tensioner, exhaust manifold gasket, inlet manifold gasket, thermostat housing gasket..

Depends how far u want to go, if the heads coming off u may aswell decoke it and fit new stem seals/camshaft seals etc. Head bolts HAVE to be replaced, always worth changing the thermostat aswell..
