kent fast road cam kit or piper cam kit?

for my xr2i thats in need of a boost......just k&n filter and magnex backbox at the mo

can anyone guess as to what the bhp increase would be with performance cam?

id spend the money on a new exhaust manifold and the rest of that magnex system to go with ure backbox.

Isn't the 2i exhaust supposed to b very effective? From what I've seen theres not much to be gained from an exhaust system on a nearly standard 2i.

Don't know about the cams, though.

Std exhausts are very restrictive to make cars quiet. Getting a good after market exhaust can let the exhaust gases escape easier.
I agree with MadcatCraig............

get the rest of the exhaust first.

Just putting on a backbox will give you no increase in power, it's the manifold and system that will help.

I have posted a lot on exhaust manifolds 4 the xr2i's
the std 1 is the best u can get.
so i say get a V sec(they cost £125 and will give u +3 to 4bhp more than std)
or go 4 a magnex(that will give u more tork +4 to 5pt)
and if u wont a cam go 4 the piper cam i like them and u will get +5 to 12 bhp up on std)

O and the std ford exhaust was 1 of the best 4 the 2i but that was the 1 that came on the car NEW and u can not get them now (as the 1 ford sell now is not as good) it a long story
